20 april 1728 William Dearneley of Hadfield in Glossop loving wife Anna Dearneley, house, household goods, garden, backside and more fields, etc, and £4 per annum "during the remainder of Glossopdale tack if she live so long" in 2 payments martinmas and ladyday. if she die before Glossopdaletack property to son Edward dearneley daughter mary Lowe 10s every year after her mother's death. son Samuel 10s every year during the term of the lease of Glossopdale, daughter Anna 10s, Martha 20s. If any die legacies to be divided among rest, but Joseph and William, 2 sons not to have any share or part of what is previously mentioned. martha to have £4 per annum from 12 months after her mother's death and £40 at the expiry of Glossopdaletack ( Martha therefore presumably a minor and this is her dowry?)
