When this Edwin married Sarah Ann, he signed his name as Dearnaly, so it seems unlikely that he would give his name in America as Dennerly.
Also U.K. Edwin already had a daughter Mary, who was still alive when U.S. Mary was born (in 1849).
On the other hand - his sisters Barbara & Ann were recorded as "Denerley" in all the censuses.
The U.K. Edwin was recorded as a Spinner in 1836, the U.S. Edwin was a Potter in 1854.
