'Thank you for your Certificate of kinship.
You are informed that John Holt entered the Royal Navy as a Signalman with the
service number of JX358202 on 25 May 1942 and served at HMS ROYAL ARTHUR to
9 November 1942, HMS PEMBROKE from 10 November 1942 to 2 December 1942 and HMS
PYRAMUS from 3 December 1942 to 15 February 1943 when he was reported missing,
presumed killed from a non operational flight (PWSS Berwick Head).

John Holt wasawarded the War medal which was issued to his mother,
Mrs A Parkinson on 10 December 1952. This is all the information that was
recorded for John Holt but I trust that it may be of some help.'
