Alice Dennerley

ID# 6805, b. 13 August 1834, d. June 1850
Alice Dennerley was also recorded as Dearnaley - (spelling not found but added for indexing.)
Note:

Records show an Alice Dennerley 1850 baptised 18 Jun 1850, Prestwich, parents Joseph (labourer) and Eliza of Manchester, BUT there is also an entry (Ancestry) for Alice Dennerley buried 18 Jun 1850, aged 15, Prestwich, parents Joseph and Eliza of Rooden Lane. So there are TWO records for this same date in 1850 for Alice, same parents, one in a book of baptisms and one in a book of burials, with the same curate officiating. I think someone copied the entry into the wrong record book. The burial gives the age (15) and seems to be the correct entry. JAD.

He was also recorded as James Dennerley.
He was also recorded as Dearnaley - (spelling not found but added for indexing.)

Birth:
James Dennerley was born between 1799 and 1802 at Hatherlow, Cheshire, England,

born 1800 in Hatherlow, Cheshire - 1851 census.
NOT Cheshire in 1841 census.

Marriage:

The other James is also a Hatter, shown at the 1823 baptism (Denton) of daughter Eliza.
In 1841, this James is shown as a Dyer of prints.

Ashton & Denton are about 3 miles apart.

Occupation:
in 1822 James Dennerley was a Hatter (daughter Mary Ann's baptism.)

Note: between 1823 and 1832

I suspect that there is something amiss here.
Assuming that the James D married to Nancy is the same one married to Nancy Oldham. There is too large a gap between the 1823 birth of daughter Eliza & the next assumed child James born around 1832.
Also James' occupations are not consistent.
