Jeremiah Dernally was a Butcher - recorded at burial.
Birth:

Jeremiah Dernally was baptised on 3 July 1752 at St. Peter's Church, Birstall, Yorkshire, England,
From the Birstall Parish Register at the Yorks Archealogical Society, Leeds:
"Baptisms
3rd July 1752 Jeremiah Dernally son of Daniel Hemingway of Liversedge Hall and Sarah Dernally. Bastard."
There must be a story here. From the fact that Jeremiah had a will proved in 1790 it appears that he must have had some property to leave to somebody.
Therefore even though he was a "bastard" his father may have given him some land or property. I would say a visit to the Borthwick Institute to look at
the will would be interesting. - Martin Dearnley
