Corporal Dennerley, of 6 Holyrood Street, West Leederville, has received word that two of his sons — Private Ernest Dennerley (33) and Private Thomas Dennerley (30) are missing.
One telegram was received on Wednesday and one on Saturday, but he thinks his sons were probably together. Both Diggers were born in England and came to W.A. in 1919. Both were working with the Water Supply, Sewerage and Drainage Department before enlisting together at the outbreak of war. They both went to Ingleburn and left in April, 1940. They have seen service in Libya and Greece and probably in Crete.
Their brother, Private William Dennerley is also overseas probably in Tobruk. Private Thomas is married and his wife and three daughters live at 4 Warwick Street, West Leederville. Private Ernest is a widower. His three sons live with their grandfather in West Leederville. The father Corporal William Dennerley served with the 2nd Battalion of the Manchester Regiment during the Great War, was wounded and was awarded the D.C.M. and M.M. He is now in the Hygiene Section at Northam.

WEEKEND ACCIDENTS. TRUCK AND TRAM COLLIDE
Four Persons Injured. In heavy rain and poor visibility early on Saturday night a motor utility truck collided head-on with a stationary bogie tram in Newcastle-street, near its intersection with Palmerston-street. As a result, Clara Mason (46), of Carr street, Leederville, Norman Waterman (38), of Railway-parade, Lee Derville, and Thomas Dennerley (38), of Caddy-avenue, Leederville, all of whom were passengers on the truck, suffered abrasions necessitating medical treatment. They were taken in a St. John ambulance to the Perth Hospital. According to a police report, the driver of the truck was Edward Gordon Mason (54) (also known as Waterman), of Carr-street, Leederville. He was thrown out of the vehicle when the collision occurred and bled freely. After the tram motorman and bystanders had lifted him to his feet, he disappeared and could not be located. Constable J. Mackenzie searched for him for about 14 hours until about 10.50 p.m. when a relative took the injured man by car to the Perth Hospital. He was suffering from a lacerated scalp, but after treatment was allowed to leave. The truck was extensively damaged and a step was torn off the tram.
