David Darnley Dies In Coney

Lonaconing, Jan, 2 -- David Darnley, 67, well-known as "Fagen", died yesterday at 3:20 a.m. at his home on Watercliffe street after being ill for a month.
Mr Darnley was employed at the East End Service station, at Lonaconing, until a year ago when he retired. He was a son of the late John and Katherine Mackay Darnley and was a native of Pekin.
His widow, Mrs Lynn Hotchkiss Darnley survives him, as do three children. They are Mrs. B.R. McLean, of Dundalk, Md; John Darnley, of Luke; and Miss Marion Darnley, of Lonaconing. Two grand-children survive, Alma Lynn McLean and Linda Kreugh Darnley.
Four sisters, Mrs Christine Doolan, Mrs Katherine Hardegan, Mrs Jane Turnbull, of Lonaconing, and Mrs Maude McFarlane, of Cumberland, are survivors.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the residence. Rev C.H. Goshorn, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, will officiate. Internment will be made in Oak Hill cemetery, Lonaconing. The choir will also take part at the services.
