It looks as though Ada Jane Dearnaley's mother Ann, died in 1880. This would have left father James with four children aged 8 & under. I suspect that Ada Jane was living with the Warhursts as a temporary measure & may not have been legally adopted. Father James & the other three children were living 2 doors away in 1881. By 1891 James had remarried & they were all back together.
