Wilson Dearnally was also recorded as Wilson Dearnelly.
He was also recorded as George Wilson.
He was also recorded as George Wilson Darnley.
He was also recorded as Wilson Dearnley.
He was also recorded as Wilson Dearnaley.

Note:

1833 - known as 'Wilson Dearnley/Dearnally'
1851 - after emigration, recorded as 'George W Darnley'
1875 - death recorded as 'George Wilson Darnley'
1911 - recorded as 'George Wilson' at his daughter Mary's death.

Perhaps George's father was a 'Wilson' & his mother a 'Dearnaley/Darnley'. George's son Joseph Darnley had changed his family name to Wilson by 1901. A George Willson (born 1787, England) was listed next to the family in the 1851 Canadian census. - MED
OR
George seems to have been in Underbank in 1833. Could he be an unrecorded son of George D & Sarah Taylor who were in Underbank in 1803? see George Dearneley

John D had a son Thomas, who also used 'Wilson' for the middle name of one of his children. see George Wilson Darnley
Were John & George brothers? They both emigrated to Canada at about the same time.

Another Emma (age 18, born England 1834) is with this family group in 1851. A niece? See Emma Darnley

Brother/Cousin?:
John D & family also emigrated to the same area in Canada c.1842. see John Dearnley
John had a daughter Emma (born 1834), but she is shown with her family in 1851.

Sister/Cousin?
see Marriage Banns below: The marriage banns of Ann Dearnally & William Booth were read one week before those of Wilson D & Rachel Ellis (consecutive entries).

There is also a Thomas Darnley (with a son George Wilson Darnley) farming in Ontario in 1881. Probably another son of this George, but where was he in 1841?

Correction:
Previously, we had Hammond/Ammon Dearnley (see Ammond Dearnely) as the father of Wilson/George D. However, his calculated birth date does not fit with the other known family members.
