It has always struck me as being the most isolated of the area. It's approached by a track running up the valley behind the ridge and then down from above. There appears to be a vehicle on it just above the farm. On the further hillside are two more farms, one hard just on the ridge and difficult to see against the plantation behind. These are upper & Lower Whitegate; The further ridge with the trees on it is the location of Ellentree Head.
