Recorded as William Maxfield Wall & Alice Jane Darnley in the registration of marriages index.

Note: in June 1902

From William Maxfield Wall's entry in the 1911 census we are led to assume that Annie Jane died soon after her marriage & that William married Harriet in 1902.
However, Annie is said to have been alive in 1902 when she was an Informant on the death certificate of her step mother Elizabeth (in July 1902) and is listed at the same address - 267 Ladypool road Balsall Heath, Birmingham. (source - darnleydescendants)
Harriet & Annie Jane are the same age & from the same area. However, the mother's birth surname of the two children Fanny & William M (from 1911 census) is recorded as "Meachem", so Harriet & Annie Jane are unlikely to be the same person.
Hednesford (Annie Jane's birthplace) is 6 miles N.W. of Brownhills, Harriet's birthplace.

William Maxfield Wall married Harriet Meachem about July 1902
