2. A 1 Dec 1839 baptism of a Hannah Bean, daughter of Thomas Bean, Tailor, & Mary (née Hainsworth); abode Tadcaster.

A number of Ancestry "Public" trees have accepted no.2 as the correct one. If so, the father part of the marriage record is completely wrong (unlikely as both partners were literate).
It has also been suggested that no.1 is the most likely, with Mary Bean being perhaps a servant of a surgeon in the area. Until a Mary Bean is found in service to a Joseph, surgeon, this is still guesswork.
