With the various spellings & locations (Grinton, Yorkshire & Alston, Cumberland - 35 miles apart), there is room for some doubt with this family.

The only other scenario that comes to mind to explain the names is that Isaiah and Dinah of Alston are cousins to Isaiah and Dinah of Grinton. But, given the pattern of birth years for the Isaiah children, I think the to-ing and fro-ing is the more likely scenario.  -JAD.
